Description
The Analyst will play a critical role in managing the financial and operational performance of battery energy storage assets within the Energy Management team. This position is responsible for overseeing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of battery assets both company owned and those with utility dispatch rights, ensuring optimal market participation, accurate billing, and adherence to contractual obligations. The Analyst will monitor market performance, analyze revenue streams, and develop strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The analyst coordinates closely with operations, engineering and project teams to keep assets marketready. The Analyst will assist with NYISO registration activities and maintain compliance items and operating parameters. The role monitors realtime performance, state of charge, efficiency, and dispatch quality to ensure reliable operations. You will assist in developing and refining bid strategies and operational strategies that maximize revenue while minimizing penalties and costs. The role produces clear, executiveready reporting and insights for senior management decisionmaking.
