Overview of the Role
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the finances of the “Global Sales” structure. He will be the point of contact for weekly, month-end and budget analyses and will also be in contact with senior management (VP, SVP). He should perform complex analyses in various foreign currencies and different databases. He will also be in charge of creating and maintaining dashboards to support management (Power BI). The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the accounting cycle of accounting entries and invoicing for inter-company transactions, bank reconciliations, currency conversions, payroll entries, and assisting in the preparation of monthly reports.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Preparation, analysis and consolidation of weekly results (US Global sales and Total Global Sales)
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Provide insights and recommendations on the financial results
- Creation strong relationship with the different partners in each division all around the world
- Accounting, billing preparation and follow-up of inter-company transactions
- Responsible for the accounting of the International division with regards to monthly balance sheet analysis, bank reconciliations and conversion of foreign currency balances
- Responsible for payroll accounting, including data analysis prior to processing
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly analyses (balance sheets and results for several companies)
- Preparation of monthly reports for managers and management
- Ensure that accounting for international activities is accurate and timely
- Act as a contact person for other departments (International, Payables, Corpo) regarding accounting activities
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the Administration Department
- Collaborate with the various international divisions of the group
- Perform all other related tasks
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
- University degree in accounting or equivalent training
- CPA designation is mandatory
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position
- Great knowledge of Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of AS/400 (asset), SAP (preferable)
- High level of accuracy, organization, analysis and autonomy
- Good team spirit
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time
- Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential as teams are located across Canada

Salary Range: $65,010 - $85,320
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
