Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic business opportunities in the Philippines and other key markets, including but not limited to, the development of both Greenfield and Brownfield renewable energy power plants (Geothermal and non-Geothermal), on-going optimization projects, and other opportunities that will contribute to EDC’s current and long-term business objectives/goals Lead or participate in conducting due diligence, and in-depth energy industry and macroeconomic research analysis related to the development of new and expansion projects, potential acquisition or partnerships, and other deal-related projects and activities Build and generate integrated financial models, conduct financial analysis and valuation, and craft reports and business case presentations to be presented to senior management, evaluate and coordinate deal execution activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent At least one (1) to two (2) related working experience is required. Related work experience in equity analysis, investment banking, management consulting or corporate strategy will be a plus Proficiency in financial modeling Ability to manage multiple tasks and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Advanced analytical and problem solving acumen Strong financial and commercial expertise Results focused and detailed-oriented Good oral and written communication skills Team player and able to multitask Must be willing to travel within the Philippines and other key jurisdictions for official business Who We Are Energy Development Corporation is a geothermal energy industry pioneer and the recognized world leader in wet steam field technology.
