POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Financial Analyst will be empowered to develop and maintain the Company’s financial reporting and planning platform. This position will possess a unique view of the business and support the executive finance, manufacturing, and other functional teams in analyzing historical results as well as planning for future opportunities. The Financial Analyst will be a key member of MP Materials’ corporate finance and planning team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree with focus in finance, accounting, math, or economics is preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in manufacturing or public company experience is desired.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and operational drivers.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with manufacturing accounting systems such as SAP is a plus.
• Experience with business intelligence software such as PowerBI or SQL is a plus.

• Collect and process financial and other types of data for use in reports and analysis.
• Prepare basic reports, reconciliations, sensitivities, statistical analysis, and visualizations.
• Analyze and interpret data, reports, analysis and research reports.
• Present conclusions and recommendations with clear distinction between fact and opinion.
