Job Description Key Responsibilities of an RTR Job Role:General Ledger Management:Managing and maintaining the general ledger.Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.Posting and reconciling journal entries.Financial Reporting:Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Analyzing financial data and generating balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other required reports.Reconciliation:Performing balance sheet and account reconciliations.Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of financial records.Closing Activities:Managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and closing is done on time.Internal Controls and Compliance:Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (such as GAAP, IFRS).Enforcing internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent fraud.Ensuring tax compliance in financial reporting.Financial Analysis:Analyzing financial performance and providing insights to stakeholders.Identifying trends and variances in financial reports.Audit Coordination:Assisting with internal and external audits.Preparing and providing the necessary documentation for audits.Collaboration with Other Departments:Coordinating with different departments (like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) to ensure accurate financial reporting.Communicating with senior management about financial health.Skills Required for RTR Job Role:Accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, standards, and procedures.ERP systems experience: Familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to process and report financial data.Analytical skills: Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial records.Communication skills: Ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Time management: Ability to meet deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end close.
