As an Internal Investigation Analyst within Group Investigations (GI), you’ll provide critical intelligence and analytical support to investigations into serious misconduct, whistleblower matters, fraud, and conduct risk across the Westpac Group. Sitting within the Intelligence Team, this is a hands‑on role supporting investigators through initial case assessments, link analysis, evidence review, and recovery activities. You’ll help identify broader fraud and conduct themes, escalate matters for investigation where required, and support the efficient management of investigation files and intelligence. You’ll deliver outcomes safely by maintaining confidentiality and data integrity, make an impact by strengthening investigative insight and recovery outcomes, and own your work end‑to‑end through disciplined analysis, accurate record‑keeping, and proactive stakeholder support. This is a permanent fulltime Sydney based role with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office). What do I need? * Knowledge of the fraud write‑off and recovery process, including use of the Spider system * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships * Strong organisation, problem‑solving, and communication skills * Experience in a financial services, fraud, investigations, or operational risk environment * Experience in an investigations or intelligence function (highly regarded), with exposure to analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, or similar (desirable) Why join us?
