The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. We're seeking a Corporate Banking Professional to develop new business, underwrite, structure, and close commercial loans. You will also maintain and service the existing portfolio as Marketing Officer. In addition, you will represent the Bank in the targeted business community through participation in community affairs and the marketing of all of the Bank's products and services. Responsibilities: - Develop a strategic and operational business plan for the department under the general guidelines provided by the Managing Director. - Promote sales and marketing activity to the target market. - Seek new market opportunities for the division. - Cross-sell bank products and services by identifying transaction opportunities, marketing each product to identified clients, negotiating the terms and conditions, and executing and documenting the transactions. - Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority. - Support the Bank's culture through ongoing customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge. - Prepare lending proposals and pitches to prospective clients. The right candidate will have: - 3+ years experience in U.S. banking and international markets - Excellent interpersonal skills including business writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Knowledge of domestic and foreign financial markets and products, including nonbanking financial institutions - Fluency in both English and Japanese - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience, Master's in Business or CFA preferred The typical base pay range for this role is between $135K to $145K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role will be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
