Military encouraged to apply. Job Description *We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities. The purpose of this job is to provide contract and legal support to our real estate legal team for the development, acquisition, and commercial sale of real estate. Provide assistance to the real estate legal team for the purchase and sale of real estate and related activities. Such activities include coordinating due diligence and closing processes, such as reviewing and evaluating title documents, generating closing checklists, updating information, obtaining signatures, and drafting and finalizing closing documents. Coordinate post-closing activities including, electronic closing binders, updating real estate files, and passing along relevant information to accounting, finance, and other relevant team members. Participate in construction team project review meetings and company real estate and development meetings. Draft correspondence to landlords, tenants, perspective buyers, sellers, clerks and others facilitating real estate transactions. Review and analyze contract provisions and provide feedback to the team. Develop contract forms and clauses to support organizational goals. Participate in special projects related to real estate and complete other duties, as needed.
