By joining us as an Analyst II, Freight Audit and Payment, you will support the logistics team with data mining, scrubbing, and reporting of various modes of transportation, including truckload, less than truckload, parcel, international air freight, ocean freight, and review of invoices. You will ensure the audit activities follow Emerson Logistics’ contract policies and procedures. You will work cross-functionally with logistics/site operations, procurement, trade compliance, finance, business intelligence, and other internal stakeholder groups. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Demonstrate logistics cost data to identify and implement improved logistics processes. Align with key stakeholders on critical success metrics and develop dashboards to monitor logistics cost KPIs. Collaborate with logistics operations, plant locations, and procurement to ensure that logistics requirements are well-defined. Develop and maintain carrier routing guides by mode and track routing guide compliance. Partner with finance and logistics operations to ensure freight cost trends are well understood and improvement action plans are well-stated. Identify logistics reporting data quality issues and drive action plans to improve. Oversee the execution of the audit, the resolution of freight bills suspended in the system, and managing inquiries or concerns raised. Who You Are: You have a strong drive for results and exhibit passion and enthusiasm to get things done. You can efficiently carry out tasks independently and generate accurate, high-quality reports. You are proactive and highly innovative in approaching problem-solving. You can proficiently communicate ideas and work effectively across language and cultural barriers. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation Management, Customs Administration, or other related courses. 1-2 years of relevant experience in audit, accounts payable, billing or invoicing, and/or logistics and supply chain functions (i.e., transportation management system, pricing, order entry, and shipment planning). Working knowledge of Logistics or Transportation Operations. Working knowledge of shipping logistics and associated documentation, regulations, and terminology. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS), logistics systems, and tools.
