SUMMARY  The analyst position impacts the entire Program Management division of NMA through delivery of critical analyses. This position will work closely with operations, finance, customer service and IT teams to enhance the consistency, accuracy and understanding of reports provided. A critical component of the position is working closely with the business and technical teams to discover new insights that deliver actionable results.   SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Operates under the direct general supervision of a Supervisor or Manager; the Analyst exercises no supervision over other employees.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. Other duties may be assigned.   * Analyze data to identify significant differences, relationships and trends * Develop predictive models for attrition, leasing and performance * Visualize results of analyses in the form of graphs, charts, tables and scorecards * Effectively communicate reports and recommendations   to multiple audiences * Support management team in developing metrics and strategies for improvement * Develop domain knowledge regarding PHA Administrative Plans, HUD regulations and other state and local requirements * Provide excellent customer service to participants, landlords, co-workers, and clients * Obtain certification in Housing Choice Voucher Specialist within 120 days of employment   DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Education equivalent to a four-year degree from a regionally accredited institution in Public Administration, Social Science, Economics, Urban Planning or a closely related field (Master’s Degree preferred) * Ability to interpret and implement regulations pertaining to affordable housing program * Excellent communication skills * Possess strong computer and organizational aptitude required to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demands * Background in data relationships, data mining and quantitative vs. qualitative analysis
