Description

Willdan Energy Solutions, a division of Willdan Group, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Analyst to support a dynamic team managing a variety of energy efficiency programs. This role will be responsible for assisting with project operations, data analysis, and financial reporting, including month-end reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills) and other financial tools or software. Ability to create excel tools and develop/code macros is preferred.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency programs, sustainability practices, or environmental regulations is a plus.
  • Experience in month-end reporting processes, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting KPI and financial reports on a timely basis.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult with leadership and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate implementation of energy efficiency programs and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and goals are met.
  • Analyze and interpret project status and performance to senior leadership.
  • Develop and oversee month-end financial reports, including cost tracking, budget forecasting, and other related reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing updates to the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program objectives.
  • Review and provide input on invoices, proposals, contracts, and other project-related materials.
  • Collaborate and advise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful program outcomes.
  • Assess and Track energy savings and other program performance metrics.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned related to energy efficiency program management and financial reporting.
