At Wageningen Bioveterinary Research (WBVR), we are looking for an enthusiastic analyst to strengthen our close-knit teams in PCR and Classical Bacteriology. Together with your colleagues, you will perform diagnostic testing on large numbers of samples to screen for various bacterial and viral animal diseases.
You will be involved in setting up and interpreting a variety of PCR tests as well as a broad range of classical bacteriological assays. All work is carried out in accordance with the ISO 17025 quality standard.
You may also be flexibly deployed in other departments within WBVR or asked to assist during animal disease outbreaks.
Please note: the work takes place in facilities that are subject to post-exit quarantine restrictions under EU regulations. This means you are not allowed to keep cloven-hoofed animals. Additionally, for 72 hours after working in these facilities, you must not have contact with such animals or visit poultry farms.
