Description
Role Purpose: To ensure the continuous improvement process is supported by the units to deliver sustainable and increased productivity. To ensure that all IE activities are maintained to recognized levels of best practice to deliver world class performance. Roles & Responsibilities Drive and support Kaizen and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor. Identify waste and improve processes using Lean and IE tools. Analyse key performance data (productivity, efficiency, OTIF, WIP) to support decisions. Improve workflows, layouts, and manpower utilization. Support problem solving and root cause analysis to close performance gaps. Ensure improvements follow safety standards and standard work. Lead and support Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost. Identify waste and improvement opportunities using Lean tools (VSM, 5S/6S, Standard Work, SMED, etc.). Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and cross-functional improvement projects. Analyse workflows and layouts to optimize manpower utilization, space, and material flow. Analyse operational KPIs including productivity, OTIF, efficiency, and WIP. Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management review. Support root cause analysis and development of corrective and preventive actions. Use data and analysis to support decision-making and improvement actions. Engage operators and supervisors in improvement activities and Kaizen events. Provide CI coaching and guidance to shopfloor teams. Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture within all improvement initiatives. Education, Qualifications and Experience: Professional graduate Bsc in the area of industrial engineering/management or similar areas. Superior Communication abilities. Excellent analytical skills. From 0 to 2-year experience in similar area PC skills especially in MS and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge or qualification in Lean Management Techniques.
