ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced level in written and spoken English, other languages will be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience in the Cargo Industry will be considered as an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio…) - others are considered as an advantage.
  • Team player.
  • Able to work in line with IT policies (using Azure Devops, Service Now).
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills and effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Responsibilities

The tester will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by rigorously testing all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The main responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Perform thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and stability
  • Identify areas suitable for automation and create automated test scripts
  • Perform API testing
  • Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring their resolution and retesting in collaboration with the development team
  • Conduct regression tests to verify that recent changes have not adversely affected existing features
  • Create test cases, test scripts, and detailed reports of test results
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Ensure the highest quality of the projects/products assigned
  • Create test plans, design test scenarios and test cases
  • Design, execute and maintain test scripts
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform re-testing and regression testing when incidents are resolved
  • Perform regression testing
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet stakeholders needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Ensure that all tested products meet specified standards and end-user requirements
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Perform performance testing for program performance monitoring to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Report test results of the different test types/levels to the manager and team
  • Approve pipelines when functional testing is finalized and ready to tested by the stakeholders (UAT)
  • Prepare test deliverables and support stakeholders during UAT

Maintain communication between all the teams in the IT Department and business:

  • By collaborating with IT Developers, Product owners or Project managers and other relevant IT representatives
  • By providing clear feedback on bugs, incidents, tasks and user stories
  • By giving continuous feedback status to the Test Manager and/or Project Manager
  • By providing test reports to the team
