Job Description

  • Perform routine and more complex analysis/testing of pharmaceutical finished products/raw materials
  • Conduct calibration and preventive maintenance of instruments/testing apparatus (e.g., HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Thermometer, Oven, etc.) for compliance and accurate testing results.
  • Prepare and generate protocols and reports for method verification, validation and transfers.
  • Ability to execute method verifications, validations, transfers based on signed protocols.
  • Execute and perform testing as per methods, following the company’s Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations and Change Control programs and cGMP guidelines.
  • Ensure that work order documentation is complete in every aspect and all results are entered into the electronic Laboratory Information System or the Client’s Certificate of Analysis before submission to the QA reviewer.
  • Prepare and assist in preparation of Work Forms as per test methods.
  • Capable of accurate review of Volumetric/Test/Colourimetric solution preparations.
  • Perform water suitability test as per the method and guide other Analysts to be able to perform when required.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc. Chemistry or relevant field
  • Have minimum 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical environment and under GMP
  • Have minimum 3 years of experience working with the following techniques (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Thermometer)
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
