e EMEA Logistics Analyst supports logistics operations in the EMEA region, focusing on transportation and warehousing. This role contributes to ensuring efficient, transparent, and cost-optimized logistics processes by analyzing transportation data, monitoring goods flows, and identifying optimization potential. Through data-driven analysis, the analyst supports the continuous improvement of transportation performance and the reduction of freight costs. We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst (m/f/d) for a permanent position.
Your tasks
- You will support the operational logistics business at the central EMEA distribution center (3PL) near Frankfurt and work closely with the operations and management team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- You analyze inbound and outbound transport flows, support the control and reduction of freight costs, and create relevant logistics KPIs.
- You identify deviations, optimization and savings potentials and support the implementation of suitable measures.
- Coordination and alignment with external logistics service providers, freight forwarders and business partners to improve transparency and execution along the supply chain.
- You will participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement projects in the area of Logistics & Supply Chain.
This is what you bring with you
- Commercial training in the field of freight forwarding, industry, wholesale and foreign trade or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, transport or freight management.
- Solid knowledge of dealing with 3PL service providers, transport processes and international goods movements.
- Experience in data analysis, cost analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP and Excel/Analytics tools as well as MS Office
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Experience with Lean/Kaizen is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional European languages are an advantage.
