THE ROLE & THE TEAM Zalando’s Network Planning (Logistics) — Long Term Planning department is looking for an Analyst to help us become the Starting Point for Fashion for our customers, and the platform of choice for our brands. As our Logistics Network Planning Analyst, you will take the wheel and own the development of integrated, long-term network planning processes and protocols for the entire Zalando Group. You’ll serve as the vital bridge between diverse stakeholder teams, co-creating an airtight methodology and driving the end-to-end integrity, quality control, and ownership of our network outputs. If you have a passion for data, you’ll thrive here—you will regularly dive into ad-hoc data analysis, tackle complex modeling, and pioneer brand-new metrics to elevate our regular reporting. You will be a champion for continuous improvement: relentlessly driving process efficiencies by simplifying and automating manual workflows to help our logistics network scale effortlessly. WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF 4+ years of relevant professional Data and Analytics experience. Proactive individual who thrives in a team setting, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication abilities. Skilled in explaining complex concepts to a non-technical audience. Must have SQL knowledge to query data including joining multiple data tables, summarising data and calculating new fields. Fundamental coding skills in Python with focus on clean, readable and maintainable code. Basic knowledge in other languages is a plus. Must have a structured approach to framing questions and designing the necessary analysis with a first-principles thinking approach. Nice to Have: Experience with the AWS ecosystem, e.g. S3 and Redshift is a plus. Supply Chain / Logistics experience is a plus, but applicants from all sectors are welcome.
