The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the implementation of Dimensional’s investment philosophy. They ensure client portfolios continually pursue the targeted premiums, provide traders with buy and sell candidate lists, outline trading parameters, and assist clients to understand Dimensional’s investment practices.
As an Analyst, you will support the day-to-day needs of the Portfolio Management team. Analysts are responsible for performing a series of daily tasks to ensure that our trading processes run smoothly. These include performing portfolio reconciliation, noting and responding to corporate action events, and processing database updates.
Additionally, Analysts execute ad hoc requests from Portfolio Managers such as portfolio characteristics analysis, index rebalancing analysis, and data requests. They also complete long-term projects that involve identifying possibilities for improvement in Dimensional’s trading processes and executing those improvements to improve trading efficiency and ease. You will regularly coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, custodian banks, and global Dimensional offices to assist with the daily foreign exchange trading process and portfolio reporting.
