SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP & MANAGEMENT

  • Solicit Voice of Customer feedback from all Metal – NA facilities for all direct material suppliers. Compile and Distribute results accordingly.
  • Gather performance data for and actively participate in supplier quarterly reviews.

REQUIREMENTS PLANNING & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

  • Be a point of contact for aluminium related activity, including inventory management, ASN input, handling of applicable duty and logistics invoices, and warehouse inventory tracking against forecast.
  • Lead the movement of VMI for ODM Suppliers, seeing the project to completion and through implementation.

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Procurement Analyst will work as a partner to the procurement team, our manufacturing plants, and Ardagh suppliers, working as a liaison between the teams to help manage overall relationship and to support spend under management agenda. The Procurement Analyst will utilize existing procurement systems and business processes across the procurement process areas to execute work in a timely fashion. In addition, this role will play a key part in driving the execution of a vendor managed inventory (VMI) program to improve supply chain efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and strengthen supplier collaboration.
This role will report to the Procurement Director, providing support to the entire Direct Material management team including aluminium, other direct materials (ODM), and scrap. Supporting regional Aluminium Category Manager, regional ODM Category Manager, and regional Sustainability Manager as needed with tactical & strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supplier and Contract Management

  • Establish and execute VMI program with existing ODM supplier base.
  • Maintain contract trackers across all direct material categories, managing contract lifecycle’s.
  • Identify and proactively communicating relevant contract insights, metrics, and value drivers to the Aluminium and Other Direct Material verticals.
  • Drive total cost optimization, mitigate risk, and maximize supplier performance as it relates to contract metrics.
  • Maintenance, volume review and distribution of scheduling agreements to suppliers and plants.
  • For ODM suppliers, maintain SAP processes for consigned material usage and weekly financial settlements.
  • For all categories, provide vacation back up for SAP related activity including PO creation or volume adjustments per plant needs.
  • Key contributor gathering data analytics for monthly reporting to senior leadership.
