Description:

We are looking for talented Analyst Programmer to join our team!

  • Melbourne - Full time permanent role
  • $90,000 – $100,000 Inc super per annum Inc super
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • 3 Open Positions

SKILLS:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT highly regarded.
  • Business orientation with strong IT background.
  • 3+ years’ experience in development or support in banking, cards, payments, insurance or financial services environment is desirable.
  • Experience working on Java or NodeJS or Dot Net is a must.
  • Experience in Microservices, API and Spring boot.
  • Exposure to agile or scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in working in a development or support role, providing a service to internal or external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs
  • Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
  • Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
  • Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
  • Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures
  • Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software purchases and upgrades
  • Analyses user needs, produces requirements documentation and system plans, and encodes, tests, debugs, maintains and documents programs and applications.
