Monitor, update and maintain current inventory levels. Report discrepancies. Record purchases, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Maintain, update, edit and manage data and database systems. Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Develop and execute inventory control methods and reports to assure accurate inventory levels. Plan, schedule and coordinate materials availability to assist production developed schedules. Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard inventory that does not meet the company's standards. Qualifications: High School Diploma plus related experience in a manufacturing environment. Associate degree preferred. High attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced Excel skills, including, but not limited to filter/sort, KPI chart, calculation function. Mathematical and analytical skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and strong computer skills are required. Manufacturing experience. Ability to concentrate on detailed projects. Above average written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multi-task and work with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work in a safe manner. Responsibilities
