ANALYST RESOURCE PLANNER

Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 Days WFH after probation)
Salary: £25,000 per annum, rising to £26,500 upon successful completion of probation + Excellent company benefits!
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday–Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

We are looking for someone with exceptional multitasking, decision-making, and communication skills, who demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and flexible problem solver, able to adapt quickly to changing schedules while maximising utilisation. Competency in IT, particularly with Excel and job planning systems, is essential. Additionally, resilience and the ability to maintain positive relationships under pressure are key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Are you a detail-driven, proactive planner ready to take ownership of client projects and resource management? At AEC, the Analyst Planner plays a vital role in ensuring smooth scheduling of air monitoring jobs, coordinating reinspection’s for housing clients, and supporting our wider Resource team. You’ll be the linchpin that maximises staff utilisation, strengthens client relationships, and drives operational excellence — all while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing directly to our business growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Efficiently book air monitoring appointments and reinspection’s, forward-planning to hit every deadline and target.
  • Monitor and maximise staff utilisation, ensuring at least 95% efficiency, and proactively solve scheduling challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with asbestos removal contractors, clients, and internal teams through regular communication.
  • Take full ownership of allocated projects—quickly resolving issues, improving processes, and delivering flawless handovers to site teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments, participate in resource meetings, and provide support both in-office and on-site.
  • Use a variety of tools—from bespoke client portals to Microsoft Office and Alpha Tracker—to plan, track, and report project progress accurately.
  • Support out-of-hours emergency cover on a rota basis, ensuring continuous service.
