Description
The person in this position will be responsible to govern complex and critical resiliency projects spanning across multiple categories / multiple sites / business ledgers / suppliers directly impacting the organizational goal achievement in resiliency and revenue protection. This role will also play a crucial role in Process Standardization leading to smoother funding utilization and implementation and will oversee the portfolio level process compliance management and forecast reporting. Project Management / Program Management Monitor & Govern direct material resiliency out projects with cross functional team involvement and team size of 10+ senior members. Report to senior leadership on the project progress / escalations / funding utilization status/ roadblocks / feedback on regular basis. Establish & maintain a strong knowledge management database which can be leveraged for funding utilization. Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely value capture in funding utilization Support teams with project management tools and techniques. Give proactive alerts to project team members, Escalation POCs and senior leaders for Critical Paths and risk mitigation to avoid roadblocks on the projects Participate in risks assessment and risk management along with the project teams comprising global SCM leaders and commodity managers Ensure projects meet their financial & operational goals (KPIs) viz resiliency improvement, cost out, cost avoidance, productivity gain and on time & accurate deliveries. Process Improvement through Kaizen & Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements. Previous experience in managing projects with Funding CAPEX standpoint. Comfortable in communicating and reporting to the senior leadership within the organization on the Project progress / review / roadblocks. / feedback on regular basis Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person, via e-mail and over phone Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical and or Production equivalent. Minimum 8-10 years of working supply chain experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry will be required where there has been exposure to Project Management in Supply Chain. 1. 2.
