About the role: In this role, you’ll be involved in a broad range of domestic indirect tax compliance, advisory and research work, supporting a diverse client base. You’ll apply your commercial and analytical skills to evaluate client data, interpret legislation, and deliver practical, high-quality advice. Depending on your level, you may also: Take ownership of client relationships Support the management of WIP, billing and budgets Coach and guide junior team members Contribute to internal technical training and knowledge sharing You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and Managers who are genuinely invested in your development and progression. Key Responsibilities Assisting with indirect tax compliance, advisory and consultancy services across a range of matters Researching relevant case law, legislation and revenue authority guidance Analysing client data and identifying practical solutions Supporting client relationship management and identifying opportunities for additional services Assisting with engagement risk assessment, quality control and commercial decisions Managing workflows, time budgets and work in progress Contributing to in-house training and team development (At Senior Analyst level) Providing guidance and support to junior team members About you: We’re open to candidates at Analyst or Senior Analyst level. You will ideally bring: Qualifications A degree in Business, Commerce or Finance with an Accounting major (essential) A double degree (Business / Commerce / Finance / Law) is desirable CA qualification commenced or nearing completion (or willingness to commence) Master of Tax or CTA (desirable for Senior Analyst level) Experience & Attributes 1+ years’ experience in a similar role (Analyst level) 2+ years’ experience in indirect tax or a related tax role (Senior Analyst level) Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and an analytical mindset Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team A genuine interest in indirect tax and ongoing professional development Life at RSM: RSM provides a great environment to build skills and confidence and we help our people achieve their best.
