Description
Conduct and document the assessment for Shariah non-compliance (SNC) events referred by the relevant parties. The role includes performing the assessment, drafting the assessment report, engaging with stakeholders, and presenting the assessment to the BNM Shariah Advisory Council of (SAC). This is done based on a comprehensive Shariah assessment to ensure timely and effective Shariah compliance across all stakeholders as mandated under relevant laws, thereby promoting overall adherence to Shariah requirements. The role also includes formulating policies for SNC assessments to ensure consistency, standardization, and high‑quality assessment practices. Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia), is a statutory body which started operations on 26 January 1959. Responsibilities
