Mō te tūranga | About the Role Reporting to the Director, Specialised Business, you’ll manage a portfolio of diverse and complex corporate and business banking customers, working through meaningful financial challenges and delivering outcomes that genuinely make a difference for customers and Westpac NZ. You’ll analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts, prepare credit and funding submissions and be actively involved in client meetings. Alongside this, you’ll collaborate closely with external accountants, solicitors, consultants and insolvency specialists, giving you strong exposure across the wider financial ecosystem. This role operates under a hybrid working model, with 3 days based in the office and 2 days working from home, supporting both connection and flexibility. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business or similar is desirable Experience in banking, credit, lending, restructuring or insolvency or experience in accounting or finance with an interest in transitioning into banking You could also come from an Audit, Big 4 or CA environment or a relationship role within business or Institutional Banking.
