Description
Databricks is seeking a Strategy and Execution Analyst to help accelerate Databricks’ Information Technology organizational transformation to a hyper-automated, agent-first, and best-in-class tech function. In this role, you will own and drive key CIO-prioritized projects or workstreams, run efficient OKR planning processes, and streamline cross-functional partnerships with other functions at Databricks. Successful candidates for the role will possess strategic big-picture thinking as well as the ability to design processes to scale with excellent attention to detail and a data-driven mindset. Ability to work effectively with teams and senior leaders across functions will also be key. Impact You’ll Have Deliver on CIO-prioritized critical projects to enable scale, efficiency, and AI-first transformation across Databricks through cross-functional collaboration across the company Drive operating model improvements partnering with the CIO leadership team Conduct analyses, and define templates and metrics related to quarterly, annual, and long range planning Own content and facilitation for 1-3 key organizational meetings (e.g., IT All Hands, Demo sessions) to drive alignment and advance functional and company-wide OKRs Become the “go-to” person for domain-specific knowledge on topics like planning, capacity management, program management, budget optimization, etc., among team-mates and peers Who You Are 2+ years of relevant work experience Bachelors’ degree required. MBA preferred Demonstrated experience and / or ability in the following: Experience driving strategic cross-functional initiatives Ability to influence senior stakeholders (i.e., Sr. Director+) Ability to structure recommendations to solve ambiguous problems Track record of delivering thorough, detailed analysis backed by data Ability to communicate complex ideas, both in writing and verbally, to broad range of stakeholders Experience in business process improvement, business operations, strategic planning, business transformations or corporate strategy Education or experience in quantitative field preferred (e.g., engineering, finance, economics, analytics, business management, management consulting) Experience at a top tier consulting firm is a plus Experience in the enterprise software industry, SaaS and B2B experience is a plus Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
