Description SUMMARY: Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. is seeking a candidate with in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain process with exceptional analytical skills and a strong business acumen. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for procurement of materials, consensus demand plan, inventory planning, and management of finished goods and logistics coordination along with understanding and responding to customer query as per DSCSA guidelines. The position will report directly to the Director, Supply Chain & Logistics. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare and update long term forecast of existing and new products for Zydus affiliates/CMO based on ERP system and coordinate with cross functional team. • Prepare and provide the data for Bid management and balance on hand inventory, demand and associated lead times to optimize inventory levels. • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Trade Operations to develop accurate forecasts, ensuring volume assumptions are aligned, clearly communicated, and agreed upon across all business units. • Prepare the inventory with expiry report, the inventory with demand file, and the RSP file to support supply planning and decision-making. • Provide data insights and actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including supply review meetings. • Prepare forecast variance report on weekly/monthly basis. • Create Purchase order for FG, RM, consumable materials, and services for the department, and address any questions during the PO approval process to external / internal stake holder. • Able to process GRN, Invoices and coordinate with finance team for supplier payment. • Prepare documents for new products launches (HDA sheets, Assignment of GTIN, Product set up sheet etc.) • Proactively identify and resolve potential supply shortages through timely communication, inventory build coordination with supply planning team, and appropriate escalation. • Support data analysis and ad-hoc reporting, summarizing, and presenting data in meaningful ways to all levels of the organization. • Work Cross functionally and establish relationships and manage communication across the organization. • Performs all responsibilities in compliance with internal SOPs. • Perform other related duties and ad hoc responsibilities as required. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. • Ability to utilize ERP information and analyze results. • Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. • Ability to handle multiple priorities with short timelines. • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment. • Extremely strong accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience in SAP tool will be added advantage. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related business major. • Requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as data analyst in the field of Supply chain / Pharmaceutical industry.
