As part of our collaborative and agile Information Systems Group, you'll play a key role in implementing and maintaining testing frameworks and solutions using the latest technologies in an environment focused on continuous integration and development. The role | Te mahi In this role, you’ll be working closely with the Digital Learning Environment Programme team which is focussed on improving the technology, governance, processes and support for teaching and learning. The aim is to provide a modern, accessible, equitably supported digital learning environment that enhances the learner experience. While at the same time providing a clear direction for innovative teaching practices that make the most of the new technology. As a key member working on the Digital Learning Environment Programme, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of student and staff workflows across multiple systems used for learning and teaching. A particular focus of testing will be of the integrations across systems. You'll join a passionate team, committed to constantly improving the experiences of our students and staff. Skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheako To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in the IT industry, have experience with requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and defect management, along with working knowledge of test management tools. Our ideal candidate has: • Experience testing enterprise systems like Finance 1, e-Vision, Ascender, or Dynamics CRM. • Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and standards. • Experience testing Mobile and Web Apps, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Understanding of test data regulations (NZ data) and Māori Research Ethics. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., BDD) and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure DevOps). • Experience with API and integration testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI. • Familiarity with preparation and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
