Job Description The Analyst, Transportation Safety is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of safety training programs and compliance processes. This role is detail oriented, service minded, and focused on timely, accurate execution of safety training and compliance programs that help reduce risk and support drivers and operations. Essential Functions: Develop and validate safety training content for quarterly safety meetings, ad hoc safety training and driver e-learning in partnership with the broader safety team Assign, coordinate and track safety training Identify opportunities to enhance training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement Prepare, analyze and present safety reporting, identifying trends and providing recommendations for action Provide transportation subject matter expertise to work with internal training teams to develop training content for our fleet of drivers. Maintain accurate safety data and records across approved systems and shared files Review safety events and provide recommendations for remedial action based on defined parameters in partnership with region safety managers and transportation operations Monitor transportation safety and DOT compliance, validating inspections, observations, crashes and other reporting Design and execute processes for tracking the closure of remedial action Respond to drivers, region transportation managers and support functions regarding safety training and compliance requirements, including individual event investigation reviews Maintain audit‑ready documentation and follow standard operating procedures Update compliance materials in partnership with stakeholders and in alignment with the broader safety team Communicate updates on safety policies, procedures and regulatory changes Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of two years experience in Safety or Transportation related field Skilled in oral and written communications.
