YOUR NEW ROLE

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial evaluation of Windfall Project, providing strategic insights to ensure that we maximize value from the investment. This role will be accountable for the safe and effective delivery of scope areas such as:

• Assess options for generating long term value for the Windfall asset.
• Build financial evaluation models that analyze the outcomes of the value chain for the investment.
• Gather cost and production information from various data owners for incorporation into the model.
• Apply quantitative methods (e.g. sensitivity analyses, Monte Carlo simulations) to assess risks and uncertainties related to the investment.
• Assess the impact of value optimization opportunities for the project.
• Produce reports and presentations that provide an over-view of the financial outcomes for the project.
• Work with various functions (planning, engineering, operations, and so on) to determine the value impact for improvement opportunities.
• Own the Value Office, which co-ordinates the tracking of value optimization opportunities from idea to implementation.

To sum up, you will develop and implement robust business analytical processes that will help the project to achieve its goals and objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• 8+ years of experience in studies or project evaluation
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating mining business cases, ideally in the evaluation of large-cap projects
• Collaboration qualities to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced business acumen enabling analysis of data in the context of overall investment outcomes
• Report, plan and specification writing skills
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting for performance assessment for work effort reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Facilitation skills in both large and small groups.
