Nous recherchons un analyste financier senior axé sur les résultats pour aider à mener la prochaine étape de croissance d’une entreprise de logiciels du portefeuille de Valsoft. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES:

• Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finance.
• Au moins 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans un poste lié à la comptabilité ou à la finance.
• Connaissance des principes comptables (GAAP/IFRS).
• Une expérience pratique avec NetSuite ERP (modules transactionnels et de reporting) est considérée comme un atout.
• Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et compétences avérées en analyse de données (par exemple, tableaux croisés dynamiques, Power Query, visualisation de données).
• La maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et parlé est essentielle.

Valsoft Corporation is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a results-driven Sr Financial Analyst to help lead the next stage of growth for a software company in Valsoft’s portfolio. In this position, you will be an integral part of our operations, working closely with leadership to provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and insights that guide strategic decisions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP (transactional and reporting modules) is considered a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and proven data analytics capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, data visualization).
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential.

Financial Reporting:

• Preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
• Ensure that all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
• Participation in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements, including the IFRS transition.

Monthly Close:

• Month-end entries and allocations: Includes GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, and salary and department cost allocations.
• Accruals and provisions: Manage bonuses/commissions accruals and AFDA provisions for bad debts.
• Payroll and tax reporting: Prepare payroll reports and tax/transfer pricing entries.
• Financial reconciliations: Finalize monthly entries, reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.
• P&L Analysis and FS Preparation: Analyze the Profit and Loss statement, and prepare Financial Statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
• MD result review and process improvements: Review results with controller insights, improve processes, and document financial procedures.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance against budgeted figures and providing variance analysis.
• Identify financial trends, opportunities, and potential risks, enabling management to make informed decisions to improve divisional performance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Rolling/Active forecast preparation: Develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and regularly update forecasts.
• KPI Tracking: Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and assumptions.

• Cash Flow reporting and analysis.
• MBR Deck preparation.
• Churn reporting.
• AR/AP oversight.
• Financial Integration during acquisition & system migration.
• Tax/Annual filing.
• Accounting Position Papers.
