Taiga Motors, une entreprise de technologie et de fabrication de véhicules hors route électriques en pleine expansion, recherche un analyste senior expérimenté en planification et analyse financière pour se joindre à notre équipe à temps plein à Montréal. Relevant du directeur des finances, le candidat retenu sera responsable de la préparation des budgets, des prévisions, de la modélisation financière et de l’analyse de la performance. Le titulaire du poste travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes interfonctionnelles afin d’évaluer la performance financière, d’identifier les tendances et de s’assurer que l’entreprise atteint ses objectifs financiers.

DESCRIPTION

Taiga is a rapidly scaling off-road electric vehicle technology and manufacturing company seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis in Montreal. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. The Senior FP&A Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and ensure the business meets its financial goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; ideally with an MBA
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience
  • Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with financial planning software a plus
  • Superior communication skills; including ability to interact directly with C-Suite executives
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development of the corporate model to support future rounds of financing for Taiga and related companies
  • Support and coordinate all aspects of forecast, budget and business plan
  • Liaise with departmental subject matter experts to develop assumptions and targets
  • Analyze forecast and actuals through the use of budgets, forecasts, variances and KPIs
  • Review and analyze monthly operating results with departmental leads
  • Provide financial management assistance to department heads on operating and capital budgets, and revenues
