Job Description We’re hiring an Analytical Characterization Group Leader to support formulation and process development for biotherapeutics. This lab-based role involves hands-on analytical testing, data analysis, and team leadership. You’ll work with cutting-edge techniques to characterize biologics and guide two team members in daily lab operations. What You’ll Do Perform analytical testing on biologics like monoclonal antibodies, proteins, mRNA, and vaccines Use techniques such as: HPLC (SE-HPLC, IEX, HIC, RP-HPLC) Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE), imaged Capillary Electrophoresis (iCE) Spectroscopy, light obscuration, microflow imaging Support lab operations: ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance Compile and present data using Empower and electronic lab notebooks Collaborate with scientists across teams to optimize formulations Lead and mentor two team members, supporting onboarding, performance, and morale Qualifications What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) 1+ years of experience using chromatography (especially HPLC) Familiarity with biologics and analytical techniques Some leadership experience (industry or academic) Strong communication and organizational skills Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Skills Experience with HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and other analytical tools Prior leadership in a lab or pharmaceutical setting Comfortable using lab-based software and managing data Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinietly without restriction or sponsorship ( Additional Information Position is Full Time, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
