We seek an Analytical Commercial Manager to join our Merchant Solutions Marketing Finland team. Could that be you?
The Merchant Solutions (MS) business unit addresses our customers’ payment acceptance needs in physical stores. MS serves both Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) with customized support models and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with scalable service options. Our offerings include payment terminals, payment settlement services (Acquiring), a variety of Value-Added Services (VAS), and comprehensive customer support. We engage with the market both directly through our own sales and customer service teams, as well as through partners.
Commercial Managers are the engines of the development of Nets´ business operations . Commercial Manager roles include elements from Marketing, Sales, Business Intelligence, Strategy, and Operations and require analytical capabilities, strategic mindset, and project management skills to identify growth opportunities and to build and execute go-to-market plans to address those opportunities. Ongoing commercial steering to meet strategic goals is also part of the role.
Our organization in Finland currently includes two Commercial Manager roles. This open role will lean more towards analysis, data crunching, and identification of opportunities while the becoming colleague of you, our existing commercial manager has a focus on go-to-market strategies.
The Commercial Manager is part of the country marketing team together with 5 colleagues who work on proposition, pricing, channel management, and marketing communications. In addition to the Marketing team, the commercial manager works closely, especially with the Sales teams, but also with the Country Manager, Finance, Product, and Customer Service organizations. The role includes close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders on the Nordic and European levels.
You can expect to be working on various analyses of the performance of Nets’ Finland customer portfolio. The commercial Manager is also responsible for local market and competitor analyses. As all conclusions and proposals need to be presented to and aligned with colleagues and senior management, a certain amount of presentation work can be expected.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in the role, the Commercial Manager must be analytical, detail-oriented, and meticulous , and at the same time build a strategic view of Nets’ current and potential future opportunities in the Finnish market. Being able to adapt to a dynamic environment and delivering top-quality output within stipulated deadlines is also important. Proactiveness in the dialogue with relevant internal stakeholders is a necessity, as is confidence to challenge our established ways of working.
