Job Summary: In this critical role as an Analytical Engineer, you’ll use advanced diagnostic tools, vibration analysis, and acoustic testing to uncover root causes and help our customers deliver quieter, more reliable, longer‑lasting products. You’ll work hands‑on alongside a tenured team with advanced sound and vibration technologies, collaborate with talented engineers across our organization and with customers, and take ownership of data‑driven insights that directly influence product quality. Key Responsibilities: Ability to work effectively with both internal and customer engineers to analyze motor sourced noise, vibration, and life issues in the end product. Will use Advanced sound and vibration diagnostic equipment for motor bench testing and end product Anechoic Room Evaluation. This includes bearing defect detection including Anderometer testing with our custom software. Must compile data & analysis, determine root cause of noise and vibration issues, and provide corrective action guidance for both internal reporting and customer reports. Job will involve approximately 15% travel and will interact with customers, Engineers, and Manufacturing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Background in Sound and Vibration Engineering. Experience in root cause analysis Good verbal and written skills. Experience with managing multiple projects, interfacing with customers and Engineers, report writing, and general knowledge on the operation of electric motors. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Experience with using an Anachoic chamber for sound measurements, and signal processing equipment for analysis of sound and vibrational data. Familiarity with use of an Anderometer. Experience in the HVAC industry.
