PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive Analytical Excellence: Perform both routine and non-routine testing with precision and speed, ensuring full compliance with GxP, GLP, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead Innovation & Problem Solving: Tackle technical challenges head-on, contribute to root cause analysis, and support the development and validation of cutting-edge analytical methods.
  • Own Your Projects: Take charge of individual projects from start to finish—organising, executing, and reporting progress monthly while maintaining meticulous documentation.
  • Champion Quality & Compliance: Produce and manage essential lab documents including SOPs, validation records, and reports, all aligned with ICH guidelines.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure lab needs are clearly understood and supported across the business.
  • Mentor & Evolve: Support junior analysts, help introduce and validate new equipment and continuously improve lab operations and stock management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Expert in Advanced Techniques: Bring your hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, and Pharmacopeia analysis to a lab that values precision and innovation.
  • Compliance-Driven Mindset: Implement robust procedures that ensure full alignment with GxP and other critical regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Use your strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex technical insights.
  • Analytical Powerhouse: Combine sharp technical acumen with excellent report writing and statistical analysis capabilities.
  • Decisive & Deadline-Focused: Thrive under pressure, make confident decisions, and consistently deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Health & Safety Advocate: Take ownership of lab safety by performing routine housekeeping and maintaining up-to-date COSHH, PUWER, and risk assessments in line with company policies—ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all.
