Responsibilities
  • You will perform qualitative and quantitative analytical testing of metals and alloys to determine the chemical and physical properties including impurity analysis and composition by utilizing ICP, XRF, LECO, and GDMS analytical instrumentation
  • Prepare Metallography samples and reading grain size using common metallurgical and analytical tools
  • Maintain workbooks, lab samples and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as per SOP’s and test procedures
  • Prepare analytical standards and samples through wet chemistry methods
  • Follow relevant documentation such as Standard Operating Procedure, Work instructions, Laboratory Analysis Reports and various MSA reports
  • Work in safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
