JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory practices, with experience in various analytical techniques. This role involves conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to support product development and quality control processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven laboratory experience with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry principles.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Proficiency in using analytical instruments such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and HPLC systems.
  • Experience with calibration procedures and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses using techniques such as gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and spectroscopy.
  • Perform wet chemistry techniques and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) throughout all processes.
  • Execute calibration of laboratory instruments and maintain accurate records of all analytical results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development initiatives while adhering to FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
  • Utilize laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting.
  • Conduct quality control testing to ensure product integrity and compliance with established specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment while following safety protocols.
  • Engage in microscopy for sample analysis as required.
