Angle Auto Finance Position : Analytics Engineer Full-time 440 Collins Street, Melbourne, Vic Flexible work environment. About the role; The Analytics Engineer is responsible for building end-to-end data solutions using the data tool stack including Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps. In this role you will have the opportunity to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data models and pipelines that support advanced analytics, business intelligence, Machine Learning, AI and regulatory reporting functions. The role requires strong hands-on capability across the Microsoft analytics ecosystem, combined with experience supporting enterprise-grade data platforms in production environments. Key Deliverables include; Automate morning checks, reconciliation, and alerting starting with critical reporting use cases. Re-architect the Power BI data platform to improve reliability, refresh stability, and performance. Re-engineer existing Power BI data products for better performance and robustness. Build new end-to-end solutions that span Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps data tools. E.g. Power BI products that allow users to enter their own data as inputs to analytical models. Administer the Power BI platform and related data tools, including governance of data processes, deployments, and access controls. Specific skills, qualifications and experience required for the position Qualifications; Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business Administration or equivalent. Experiences; Proven experience building end-to-end data and analytics solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI. Experience with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps is preferred. Experience with SQL and Python languages is a must. Strong understanding of financial and transactional data, including transactions, customer portfolios, risk metrics, and regulatory reporting requirements. Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows. Experience supporting and maintaining analytics solutions in production environments, including issue investigation and resolution. Certifications (Preferred / Highly Regarded) Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent Microsoft Power Platform certifications, or equivalent, including one or more of: PL-100: Microsoft Certified – Power Platform App Maker Associate PL-7001: Create and Manage Canvas Apps with Power Apps PL-7002: Create and Manage Automated Processes using Power Automate PL-7003: Create and Manage Model-Driven Apps with Power Apps and Dataverse Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent Additional Information; Experience in the auto finance industry is preferred but not essential.
