THIS IS THE ROLE

At Podimo, data is at the center of nearly everything we do; guiding decisions and fueling our business processes. This is where you come in!
In this position, you will join our BI & Analytics Engineering team, which is part of our global Data department. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining our company-wide data platform and works to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
You will be at the heart of the collaboration between data analysts, scientists, engineers, and business teams, and will be responsible for bringing efficient and robust data models, BI interfaces, and self-service solutions to life.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

• Work closely with data analysts, business teams, and data scientists to understand their needs and translate those into effective data solutions
• Utilize dbt, SQL, BigQuery, and Looker/LookML to transform and model both new and existing data sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and self-service tools that enable business stakeholders to gain insights and make data-driven decisions
• Provide data modeling expertise to team and department members through code reviews and pairing to help deliver optimal and scalable designs and queries
• Promote the adoption of data solutions and interfaces by educating business users and data developers on their usage

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

• Some experience working with BI or analytics engineering
• Proficiency in data modeling and knowledge of data warehousing principles
• Strong experience with dbt, SQL, BigQuery, and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker)
• A love for teamwork, continuous improvement, and learning
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  Naturally, being passionate about podcasts, audio content, and entertainment is a big plus!
