WHY YOUR ROLE MATTERS

The Analytics Engineer holds a key role in the Educational Data & Insights team within the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic Quality (DVCAQ) portfolio in developing end-to-end reporting solutions to measure UNSW student experience and education outcomes. The role leads the end-to-end delivery of Azure Databricks data pipelines, data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and PowerBI dashboards.
The myExperience Survey at UNSW is an end-of-session survey designed to gather student feedback on their individual courses and teaching experiences. This role has been funded to work on a rebuild of the myExperience reporting architecture to make the reporting easier to use and easier to maintain.
The role is funded for 12 months, reports to the Manager, Educational Data & Insights, and has no direct reports.
