JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

The program manager reports to the AVP of Data and Analytics. This role will work as part of a cross-functional team to facilitate delivery of multiple interconnected data and analytics products and initiatives in service of the HR Group’s strategic priorities. As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • 7+ years of experience in Project or Product Management (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the project portfolio and roadmap(s) for HRG Data & Analytics.
  • Manage a team of business analysts focused on agile analytics product delivery.
  • Serve as a supplementary project team resource during the design, development, and implementation phases of product development.
  • Gather information, conduct research/observations, prepare analysis, plan and coordinate logistics, and develop supporting documents (such as presentations) for a project team under the guidance of the AVP of Data & Analytics.
  • Ensure a clean and prioritized backlog across multiple projects.
  • Attend multiple project agile ceremonies as necessary to ensure that projects stay on track and status and progress are actively communicated to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Drive portfolio prioritization discussions with development teams and the business as conflicting priorities, expectations, or resource constraints are encountered.
  • Monitor overall business unit portfolio health, participate in business unit review meetings, and communicate outcomes to leadership.
  • Measure the team against metrics and hold employees accountable for project delivery within defined frameworks.
  • Enforce accountability within the staff, establish controls, and utilize department metrics to measure success and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with employees to define individual career development plans and encourage employees to track progress against development plans.
  • Develop leaders, program managers, and team leads who are flexible, dynamic, and can create an environment that maximizes the speed of delivery, optimizes costs, increases efficiencies, instills resiliency, and grows talent.
  • Coach and mentor; ensuring assignments provide growth opportunities for employees.
  • Ensure regular communication and feedback occur with colleagues; maintain two-way dialogue on work and results; be a clear communicator.
  • Display resiliency and cope with stress, pressures, and setbacks in a productive and positive way.
  • Use one’s network to drive team and individual performance, success, delivery, and forge stronger relationships.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop communication plans.
  • Create and maintain program documentation, including charters, plans, and reports.
