We have an exciting opportunity for an Ancillary Operator to join Norgine.

REQUIREMENTS

An Ancillary Operator must be able to carry out the following:

  • Cleaning of all GMP areas in the production areas as part of the service provided by the Site Facilities Team, using manual and automated cleaning equipment .
  • To clean all equipment to the standards required.
  • To appropriately maintain and update records and information.
  • Provide a support to operations this involves the stripping and cleaning of machinery parts. Moving pallets of material and product into and out of the department.
  • To move equipment and furniture as and when required with due regard to manual handling training.
  • Dispose of waste following disposal procedures..
  • To use the correct cleaning materials at the correct strength to ensure effective cleaning.
  • To support production Ancillary team when requested to do so via the Site Services Ancillary team leader instruction..
  • Ability to work as a self-motivated member of a team is required, as is a flexible approach.
  • To undertake the key responsibilities of the Site Services Ancillary Team member in the event of their absence.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • A sound knowledge of GMP principles.
  • A sound knowledge of GDP principles.
  • Application of Health and Safety principles.
  • Manual Handling skills and application.
  • An understanding of the chemicals being used and the necessary safety precautions to be taken when handling them.
  • The have the ability to use manual, steam cleaners, automated cleaning equipment.
