Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

Improve sales conversion levels and drive the commercial returns of all ancillary products including travel insurance throughout your dedicated area. Managing the end-to-end supply chain, systems to maximise the revenue return. Implement the company strategic plan within your area to achieve group objectives. This is a field-based role driving performance of KPIs to support the branch, division & business in achieving its objectives. Working closely with Regional Managers, Branch Managers and Colleagues to upskill on supplier products and systems to ensure sales growth is achieved.
The day-to-day role will be engaging with colleagues across the business in a large demographic area, therefore overnight stays will be required as 60% of your contracted hours will be in various locations across your dedicated area.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Accountable for the sales performance for all ancillaries including travel insurance within your region.
  • Responsible for the commercial relationship with the ancillary provider to support driving growth and improving efficiencies
  • Support management to maximise overall sales throughout the group, by identifying product that would be suitable to market, with the support from the suppliers.
  • Support relationship management with the Sales, Product and Marketing departments to ensure funding opportunities from suppliers are maximised in order for personal and department KPI’s to be achieved.
  • Raise sponsorship funds if required for company events
  • Manage the end-to-end proposition including training, sales, marketing, and compliance within your region.
  • Manage day to day relationships with branch colleagues, in order to optimise customer, and operational performance.
  • Review KPI’s for ancillary and insurance, work collaboratively across your trading region to ensure these are met.
  • Work to influence stakeholders across your region to build buy in for the proposition.
  • Review branch process to be able to identify opportunity to improve efficiency and customer journey in relation to selling ancillaries.
  • Highlight and make recommendations to overcome barriers to sale for ancillaries and insurance sales.
  • Present at regional managers meetings and ancillary roadshows where required.
  • Prepare and present performance reports for your region.
  • Branch visits to be fully documented with clear SMART action plans shared with all stakeholders, allowing follow up and progress updates.
  • Joint visits with RSM’s to enhance ancillary product knowledge.
  • Regular trading meetings with Ancillary Business Development Manager
  • Collaborative working with training team, full joined up approach ensuring field sales support compliments and follows up with training team activity.
  • Willingness to participate in and deliver training appropriate to own development.
  • Participate in ad-hoc duties or prepare ad-hoc information where required.
