SUMMARY:

The Clinical Scientist will be a dedicated researcher who works in collaboration with our interdisciplinary research team and departments of orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, sports concussion, sports psychology, sports rehabilitation, and performance science. The Clinical Scientist will execute an independent research agenda that aligns with CHAI’s strategic plan and includes study development, data collection of clinical, laboratory, and field-based testing, data processing and statistical analyses, present research findings at professional conferences, publish manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, and seek extramural grant funding. The Clinical Scientist will work directly with the clinical providers and Director of Research to develop research agendas. The Clinical Scientist will mentor clinical fellows in their respective track of expertise.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years years in professional settings Req
  • Research experience aligned with CHAI’s clinical service line Pref
  • Evidence of scholarly productivity such as Publications or presentations Req

EDUCATION

  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Masters in Health Sciences, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, Biomechanics, Neuropsychology, or related. Req
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience PhD Pref
Responsibilities
  • Execute an independent research agenda that aligns with CHAI’s strategic plan
