Responsibilities: Design and build an advanced application for the Android platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Monitoring the performance of live apps and working on optimizing them at the code level Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency   Requirements: 4 years of development experience in Android App Development as Mobile App Developer Strong knowledge of Google’s Android design principles and guidelines Experience with location-based services and mapping APIs (e.g., Google Maps, HERE, TomTom), commonly used in automotive applications for vehicle positioning and route planning. Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries and APIs Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
