Description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team on a one-year contract. In this role, you will develop new features, integrate SDKs and APIs, and optimize app performance. You should be proficient in Kotlin and Java, with experience in native Android development.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of the native Android SDK, Android Studio, and associated development tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Android components, including activities, fragments, views, and other UI elements.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Knowledge of Android Jetpack Compose is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in native Android application development.
  • Familiarity with Firebase and Google SDKs (e.g., push notifications, maps, authentication, Crashlytics, etc.).
  • Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and utilizing third-party libraries such as Retrofit and Glide.
  • Experience publishing Android applications to the Google Play Store is an advantage.
