Android Developer- Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a Android Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in iOS GIT SQLite Restful APIs Android Jetpack Android SDK Java and Kotlin. This role involves developing innovative mobile applications that enhance user experience and align with our company’s goals. The position is hybrid with a day shift offering a balance of remote and in-office work. Location: Palo Alto-CA Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using Java and Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that meet customer needs and business objectives. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting rigorous testing and debugging. Utilize GIT for version control to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members. Integrate SQLite databases to store and retrieve data efficiently within mobile applications. Implement Restful APIs to enable seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services. Leverage Android Jetpack components to build robust and scalable applications that adhere to best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application functionality and user experience. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and optimize application performance. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth application operation. Document application development processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Qualifications Possess strong proficiency in iOS and Android development with a deep understanding of mobile application architecture. Demonstrate expertise in using GIT for version control and collaboration. Have experience with SQLite for efficient data management within applications. Show proficiency in implementing Restful APIs for seamless backend communication. Be skilled in using Android Jetpack components to enhance application functionality. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $ 97,000– $ 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
