Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable and performant mobile solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to define, design, and ship new features. Testlify Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Debug, fix bugs, and improve application performance. Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Monitor the performance of live apps and identify and rectify bottlenecks. Continuously research and adopt the latest Android development technologies and best practices. Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Document architecture, components, and release procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4 years (adjust as needed) of experience in Android development. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin. Strong experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android architecture components. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with back-end services. Familiar with UI/UX design principles, device fragmentation (screen sizes), and Android lifecycle. Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with Jetpack components . Knowledge of reactive programming . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile Familiarity with unit testing frameworks . Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
